Fundraising and Donations
We believe that all Deaf-Blind people have the right to an independent lifestyle and the right to access opportunities to develop a high-quality of life. All donations go towards creating a more accessible way of life for all Deaf-Blind individuals. This includes Deaf-Blind Technical Devices Lending Library, RCMDB programs for Deaf-Blind individuals, Deaf-Blind camp, and Deaf-Blind housing.
Currently our application is being reviewed for our own charitable status. Hopefully RCMDB will have their own charitable number this year and be able to issue receipts before the year end for the 2023 tax year.
Your support helps change the lives of Deaf-Blind individuals
RCMDB develops summer and winter programs to help reduce the isolation our clients may experience. We have received positive feedback as well as suggestions on new outings and programming ideas. A technical devices and lending library is on the horizon at RCMDB.
With funds received from supporters we can develop and add more devices that are preferred by Deaf-Blind users, in addition to developing more community programming for Deaf-Blind individuals.
